CyberSHIELD

Cyber safety education that helps learners become Digital Defenders.

CyberSHIELD is Digital Defense Alliance's structured cybersecurity curriculum for kids, teens, seniors, individuals, and families. It turns cyber safety into practical habits through clear lessons, real-world examples, trusted resources, and the Digital Defenders.

What It Is

A beginner-friendly curriculum built to Defend, Educate, and Empower.

CyberSHIELD helps learners understand online risks, protect their devices and accounts, handle personal data carefully, interact safely, respond to threats, and build lasting cyber hygiene routines.

How CyberSHIELD Works

The program is organized into six interactive modules. Each module can be delivered as a 1-2 hour session, creating a full 10-12 hour learning pathway for beginners.

Sessions can support in-person community outreach, digital learning, school and student programming, senior education, and family cyber safety education.

Each learner builds practical checklists and confidence they can use beyond the session.

The SHIELD Framework

Six habits that turn cyber safety into everyday practice.

Our guidance is informed by top experts and official organizations including CISA, FTC, NIST, and the FBI. Each section emphasizes actionable habits and positive behavior changes. Cybersecurity is not one-and-done, but an ongoing lifestyle.
