CyberSHIELD
CyberSHIELD is Digital Defense Alliance's structured cybersecurity curriculum for kids, teens, seniors, individuals, and families. It turns cyber safety into practical habits through clear lessons, real-world examples, trusted resources, and the Digital Defenders.
What It Is
CyberSHIELD helps learners understand online risks, protect their devices and accounts, handle personal data carefully, interact safely, respond to threats, and build lasting cyber hygiene routines.
The program is organized into six interactive modules with each module delivered as a 1-2 hour session, creating a full 10-12 hour learning pathway for beginners.
Sessions can also be fully customized by request supporting in-person community outreach, digital learning, school and student programming, senior education, and family cyber safety education.
Each learner receives practicle checklists, trusted resources, and builds confidence they can use beyond the session.
The SHIELD Framework
Our guidance is informed by top experts and official organizations including CISA, FTC, NIST, and the FBI. Each section emphasizes actionable habits and positive behavior changes.

Protect devices, accounts, and networks with strong security measures, software updates, password safety, multi-factor authentication, backups, and basic cyber hygiene.

Turn cyber safety into a routine. At this stage, you are practicing the habits of a Digital Defender!
